Celebrating Seniors
Friends, family, faculty and students gathered to celebrate our graduating senior classmates on Thursday, May 19th. At a celebration held at Monaco's Palace, attendees learned of the dedication and determination of our upcoming graduates - while enjoying inspirational messages throughout the event, good food, and plenty of laughs. Congratulations Class of 2016! Focus on the Future!

2nd Annual Community Baby Shower
Focus Learning Academy and Focus North High School played host to the 2nd Annual Community Baby Shower presented by WHEP and Project Nurture. The event was well attended and held at our East Campus on May 11th. This educational event was conducted with support from area companies and organizations that provide support for young mothers and mothers-to-be. Thank you for helping us make this event such a tremendous and worthwhile success!

Focus Prom 2016
Under the theme "Caribbean Nights", staff and students alike had a blast at the Focus Learning Academy & Focus North High School Prom - held May 6th at The Vault in Downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Prom Pop-Up Shop
With Prom approaching this Friday Night for all Focus students, Ms. Davis and Ms. Jones at Focus West brought in accessories from their own collections for students to take and wear to prom and keep! Students could pick necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings. They were also able to get their nails prom ready! Over 10 students took advantage of the Prom Pop Up Shop and will for sure look great at the prom!

Garden Party Out West
Mr. Hill and Mr. Whetherholt have been working hard and the garden in the parking lot of Focus West is progressing steadily. More dirt was added to the boxes last week, grass seed is down, and lots of seedlings are popping up in window sills all around the school! Tulips, Daffodils, and onions have already sprouted up and we have pumpkins, sunflowers, peppers, zucchini, and cucumbers that will also be planted soon!
