OSU Strengthening Families Program
The Ohio State University is bringing a new program to the South Side! The Strengthening Families Program (10-14) is for 6th graders and their parent/caregiver. This program is open to all 6th grade families that live or go to school in the 43206/43207 zip codes.
The program teaches youth about healthy communication and resisting peer pressure, while parents learn how to show love and set limits. Participating families will receive a free meal during each session and will be eligible for gift card incentives of up to $50. Childcare will also be provided, upon request. The program will take place on Thursday evenings for 7 consecutive weeks from February 13 - March 26 from 5:30-8 pm at FOCUS Learning Academy Southwest, 190 Southwood Ave.
